ABU DHABI: The latest Big Ticket draw has once again turned dreams into reality, rewarding four fortunate winners with a combined jackpot of Dh360,000.

As part of Series 272, these winners – hailing from diverse backgrounds – share their journeys of perseverance, luck, and ambition.

With excitement building for the upcoming draws, Big Ticket continues to capture the imagination of hopeful participants across the UAE.

Persistence pays off

Khaldoun Saimouah, a 47-year-old Chief Operating Officer from Canada, has called Dubai home for 25 years. A dedicated Big Ticket participant since 2010, he first discovered the contest through a billboard and has been purchasing tickets regularly. His patience and persistence finally paid off, earning him Dh90,000.

Already envisioning his next adventures, Saimouah plans to use his winnings to travel and explore new destinations. His confidence in Big Ticket remains unwavering – so much so that on the very day he received the winning call, he purchased another ticket. His advice to others is simple: “Don’t quit, and your day will come.”

Similarly, Akshay Tandon, a 39-year-old finance professional from India, embraced Big Ticket after hearing about it through social media and colleagues. Having bought seven to eight tickets since early 2024, his perseverance led to a Dh90,000 win. Overwhelmed at first, Tandon now looks forward to investing his winnings and possibly buying a new car. He remains committed to trying his luck again, aiming for the grand prize.

Winners of the latest Big Ticket draw celebrate their Dh360,000 jackpot, proving that persistence pays off.

Shared wins, shared joy

For Mohammed Abdul Aziz Jabal, a 56-year-old private driver from Bangladesh, winning Dh90,000 was not just a personal triumph – it was a shared victory. A resident of Abu Dhabi since 1995, Jabal has been a loyal Big Ticket customer from the start, purchasing tickets as part of a 45-member group.

Shocked yet overjoyed by the win, he immediately planned to split the prize among his group. “The win is not only for me and my family but also for my friends and their families,” he said. His faith in Big Ticket remains strong, and he intends to continue participating in future draws.

Robin Varghese, a 37-year-old chef from Kerala, India, has been participating in Big Ticket since 2016. Initially introduced to the draw by friends, he formed a group to purchase tickets every month. When he received the winning call, disbelief was his first reaction. “I thought it might be a scam,” he admitted, but the joy soon set in.

Sharing his Dh90,000 winnings with his group of 10 friends, Varghese is also treating himself and his wife to new phones. Encouraging others to keep their hopes alive, he says, “There will be a day for everyone—be patient and keep going.”

Exciting prizes ahead

As the month unfolds, anticipation is high for the upcoming Big Ticket draws. On 3rd April 2025, one lucky participant will walk away with the grand prize of Dh15 million. Additionally, 10 participants will each win Dh50,000 in the live draw.

For those looking to boost their chances, purchasing two or more cash tickets in a single transaction between 1st and 25th March secures a spot in the exclusive Big Win Contest. This live event on 3rd April will see four winners claim prizes between Dh20,000 and Dh150,000, with names announced on 1st April.

Adding to the excitement, March’s promotion includes the chance to win a luxurious Range Rover Velar, with the lucky winner set to be revealed on 3rd May 2025.
